Myself and Andrew always knew we wanted to get married abroad and fell in love with the stunning Island of Rhodes and the idea of getting married on the beach with the sand between our toes. As soon as we had decided on Rhodes based on photos we had found on the internet as we had never visited Lindos before, we knew that Lindos Memories would be our dream venue.

As soon as we booked with Lindos Weddings we knew we were in the best hands to organise our dream Wedding.  Our Wedding Day was perfect, it was everything we had dreamed it would be and more.

Lindos Weddings instantly made us feel relaxed and reassured, I like to be in control and had loads of ideas of how I would like the day to go so it was difficult letting a team plan our wedding from another country but Karen and the team were amazing from start to finish, we had nothing to worry about at all.

All of the suppliers are fantastic, the hair and make-up ladies were brilliant, I chose a sleek up-do teamed with an embellished head band and veil with natural make up and could not have been happier, my hair and make-up lasted all day and night.

As we got married in August and knew it would be a very hot day so I opted for a lightweight Grecian gown by Hayley Paige with a veil and wild flower bouquet with embellished sandals. We had a navy colour scheme for the bridesmaids and grooms party with trousers and braces with bow ties.

We had our ceremony on Lindos Memories beach dressed with olive bushes and a leafy floral arch and it was honestly stunning, followed by a drinks reception in the Apollo bar with all our family and friends.

Myself and my Andrew were then whisked away by the wonderful photographer Antonis for a location photo shoot around Lindos village, whilst our guests enjoyed drinks and canapes.

To our guests surprise a coach arrived at Lindos Memories to take them to the evening reception at Tambakio which was a wonderful surprise that the Lindos Weddings Team helped to co-ordinate.

When we arrived at Tambakio we were blown away. The taverna is beautiful and secluded, the management and staff are great. Our guests were notified of our arrival as we were watching over them from the top of the bay for our photos, it was such a special moment to watch our guests reaction to the surprise location for our reception. We chose steak for our meal and our guests still say how it is the best steak they have ever had. We had the Rustic Olive Grove decoration package that complimented the stunning Taverna and theme. The service from the staff was outstanding, we chose Mythos for the men and Pimms for the women and juice for the children and there wasn’t an empty glass all night.

Our evening flowed perfectly, after our first dance we had another surprise planned for our guests and what a surprise it was. The Greek dancers arrived and they were absolutely fantastic, they had everyone on their feet dancing and laughing, we would definitely recommend them to any future bride and grooms.

We cannot recommend Lindos Weddings enough, nothing was too much trouble and the day they planned for us really was our dream wedding, the team ensure your day flows perfectly and stay with you until you are settled for your evening. Their suppliers are the best on the Island and we could not be happier with how our day turned out. Having the drone as part of our day was amazing and our photos are beautiful.

Getting married in Rhodes is one of the best decisions we have ever made, Lindos will always have a special place in our hearts, we cannot thank Karen and the team enough for everything they really are the best in the business!
