I am Kirsty and in August this summer, I married the love of my life Nick, this is my love story and I would love to share this with you. 
If we had to describe our wedding day in three words it’s would be, magical, unforgettable, beautiful.
Nick and I met down his local social club on firework night. Nick spent many of his Fridays and Saturdays down there, and was always told he would never meet his wife down there. Turned out he did!
We got engaged in Centre Parcs Woburn. It was 13 December and was a very romantic proposal. Nick had arranged for all ceiling balloons in our lodge with a petal isle and a flower wall which said Will You Marry Me. We was away with nicks family for his sisters birthday so a few of them were in on the surprise! Nick Pretended he had dropped the birthday cake, so I had to go back to the lodge to help him, and when I walked in, “I’ve been wait for a girl like you” was playing and nick was down on one knee.
We went for a rustic theme with sage green. We had a simple cream carpet up for aisle with bay trees. We also had the full fairly light package which made it feel so amazing.
I had chosen a simple up do for our wedding day, with a sparkly pearl head piece. I also chose a very simple make up, nothing too heavy and quite natural. The hair and make up artists are amazing!
My dress was my dress of dreams! It was a one of kind Ronald Joyce dress. Satin bottom and beaded and pearl top, with a sheer back, with a very long lace train. It was the first dress I tried on, and I feel in love. My shoes were all sparkly. Our bouquet was silk flowers of lilys, roses and gypsophila.
One of my favourite parts of the day/evening, was everyone around for the final song of the night. Made me realise how lucky we are to have such amazing friends and family coming all this way to celebrate. And just how perfect Lindos Weddings made our day.
We had the saxophonist and DJ and they were both amazing! Mark is just the best and the dance floor was full all night. Was a great party!
We chose Amphitheatre for our venue. We felt like this was the most perfect venue for us just down to the vibe of the venue. We was unable to get out to see the venue prior to when we booked our wedding due to covid, but we had no regrets, from the minute we saw the venue 6 days before we got married. We instantly knew we had made the right choice. The views and style of the venue are stunning! And Caroline the owner is just amazing! Everyone had said what an amazing wedding venue it was. We had the buffet option for food and all our guest said it was the best food they had at a wedding.
If we have any words of advice for future brides, it would be dont stress, enjoy the process of planning. You are in the best hands with Lindos Weddings and your day will be perfect.
The whole team is amazing, and from the bottom of our hearts we cannot thank you enough for everything! You made our wedding dreams come true and it was just the most magical day.
