Eve & Dan

So we met at work (not very romantic I know), however we went to the same school and little did I know that Dan knew who I was and had fancied me for about 10 years before we actually met, he was 3 years older than me and I didn’t know who he was oops!

We went to Jamaica 3 months after we met (we got together instantly) and got engaged on Montego Bay beach at sunset, we had no idea that our baby boy was already a tiny poppy seed in my bellyAs soon as we got back to England we started looking at where to get married, we knew we wanted to do it abroad in the sun and Greece just seemed like the perfect choice. My Aunty had been to St. Paul’s bay before and kept telling us how beautiful it was, we trusted her, went with it, and she wasn’t wrong!

We chose to go with lindos weddings after researching online and reading fantastic reviews, we are so glad we did.

I wanted an effortless beachy style, so I had beach waves in my hair with a beautiful floor length vail and natural makeup.. I wanted to keep it natural because I wanted to look and be 100 percent myself.

We went with a rustic olive grove theme for decor which was perfectly fitting

A few days before our wedding we visited the venue next door for a beach bbq for all of our guests, and the owner (Gemma) asked us if we wanted to see our venue as it was set up for another wedding, me and Dan went upstairs and instantly became emotional, it was breathtaking, the sun was setting over the sea, we just knew we had made the right choice.

It’s too hard to choose my favourite part of the day because it was all just so perfect. I kicked my shoes off after the ceremony, had wedding cake smeared all over my face at the cake cutting, and my dress was so dirty from walking on the sand, but I didn’t care, I was living in the moment - and our guests keep telling us it was the best wedding they have ever been to!

We had an acoustic guitar player at the ceremony and a DJ for the reception, he was fantastic and played everything that we wanted to hear.

I feel like no words are enough to describe our wedding day, it was pure magic! Can we do it again!!!

If I had any advice for future couples, I would say, try to spend as much time as you can with your partner on the day, sometimes you can get swept along with it all and the day goes by so quickly. Soak up every moment!
